I’m drawn to ambiguity.
A new genre, an unusual production technique, a sound that doesn’t quite make sense at first. I like to get under the hood, understand what makes it work, and then take it somewhere of my own.
From 2013 to 2023, that instinct took shape through Propane, where I produced club records released on STMPD RCRDS, Spinnin’ Records, Hexagon, Skink and Confession, supported by artists including Martin Garrix, Ferry Corsten, Tchami and Don Diablo.
Since then, I’ve continued writing and producing across styles, working on sessions and projects involving artists including Nicky Romero, Tony Junior, StukTV, Immer Hansi, René Froger and Ruth Jacott, as well as pitches for artists and Dutch film.
Moving between musical worlds has always been part of my process. I take ideas, techniques and influences from one place and see what happens when they meet another. The goal isn’t simply to recreate a sound, but to understand it well enough to make it my own.
My work spans songwriting, production, sound design, mixing and mastering, from an early reference or rough sketch to a finished record.
Alongside music, I lead AI prototyping at AH Tech Labs, Albert Heijn’s innovation lab. Working with emerging technology is part of my everyday life, which naturally feeds my curiosity about new creative tools and ways of making music.
